Here is the promised card from this morning. As I stated previously, I have never read the Twilight series or seen the movie. The challenge on 365 cards was to be inspired by the Twilight series and use the colors black, red and some bling to make a card.
This is what I came up with late last night. I began with SU black cardstock and added the paper by Daisy Bucket – Summer Cottage collection. I don’t usually make cards in this size, but it felt right for this one. It is 3 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches. I used my Labels 4 nesties and a rub-on by My Minds Eye Bohemia Barefoot Beauty collection. The sheer black ribbon with a pearl brad by Creative Imaginations and the “bling” bee by Basic Grey finished the card.
To follow up on the actual count of what color won out at the monochromatic swap last night, I stand corrected by the Store Owner. Blue actually won with Pink coming in second. For those of you who made grey and groovy guava cards…(and you know who you are) better luck next time :)
